Foam here is made from raw material - dosing, mixing, foaming in the mould, curing and cutting. Whoever works here learns the whole process, not one operation on a line.
Training alongside experienced colleagues
Experience from Plama-pur d.d. of Podgrad, a company making foam since the middle of the last century, is passed on here. Telling that a batch is off before the measurement shows it is learned only alongside someone who already knows.
Safety is an obligation, not paperwork
The plant operates under the Seveso regime because TDI is stored on site. That means prescribed procedures and mandatory training for everyone entering production - not a formality but a condition of work.
One shift, local community
Working hours are Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30. People from Kakanj and the surrounding area come first in hiring - we grow together with the community we work in.
